3DEXPERIENCE R2018x bring major improvements to your design process.
1. The overall enhancements for everyone include the new Power'By strategy and the New Immersive Collaborative Experience.
2. Designers can take advantage of the new Human Experience app and CATIA's unified modeling for design workflow.
3. Engineers can benefit from the new Stamping Die Designer role and the enhanced function Driven Generative Designer role.
4. All participants in Architecture Engineering and Constraction projects can benefit from an extended and enriched industry focused solution for AEC.
5. Systems Engineers can enjoy multiple enhancements and additional roles to make your job easier and more productive.
Power’By lets CATIA V5 users benefit from the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform without migrating data or disrupting existing processes.
Immersive Collaborative Experience means teams can now collaborate in immersive virtual reality: “plug and play” a HTC Vive head-mounted display to immediately jump into a shared virtual reality experience, and walk around and interact with the product.
For Designers: the new Human Animation app lets designers explore and animate the physical interaction of a human with their product. Designers can choose and mix several modelling mathematics to create shapes with CATIA’s Unified Modelling Environment.
For Engineers: the new CATIA Stamping Die Designer role delivers high-quality right-first-time tooling by guiding users through conceptual planning to detailed tooling design of complex stamped sheet metal parts. An extended AEC solution now addresses all participants in the end-to-end building process. The unique Function Driven Generative Designer role has been enhanced to allow non-specialist designers to automatically generate optimized conceptual assemblies from functional specifications.
For Systems Engineers: the extended Cyber Systems Engineering solution provides digital continuity to design, validate and experience mechanical, electronic and software systems within a systems engineering approach. This release brings new roles for Electrical and Electronic Architects, System Quality Analysts and System Safety Analysts.
